HOW TO ACCESS THE E-RESOURCES ON-CAMPUS

There are mainly two ways how to access the TUT LIS licensed content, on-campus, namely:

  1. Via the TUT Website
  2. Directly via the TUT LIS Website

 

Method 1 - Via the TUT Website

  1. Go to the TUT website: www.tut.ac.za
  2. On the bottom right hand side of the site, click on the Library and Information Services link

 

  1. Once on the TUT LIS website is open, follow the instructions from Method 2, step 2
 

Method 2 - Via the TUT LIS Website

  1. Go directly to the TUT LIS Website:  https://lib.tut.ac.za
  2. Click on the Databases: A-Z List link

 

  1. Once on the TUT LIS Databases: A-Z List, select the specific alphabetical character, resembling the name of the electronic resource to be searched.

 

  1. Once the desired alphabetical character was selected, select the desired electronic name.

 

  1. Note that the resource will contain a brief description.  You will now have the opportunity to select on-campus access.  If you are on-campus, click on On-Campus.
  2. Once you click on the On-Campus link, you will be directed to the desired database platform, without any authentication.

 

  1. Please contact your library should you experience any difficulty to access the electronic resources.
  2. Enjoy your searching experience.
